The London Group
meetings resume on 10th September, 2008 with a session entitled Labels & Vignettes, to which members are invited to bring along the usual and the unusual. Further meetings are scheduled for November, and March and April 2009. An interesting and varied programme has been organised for the Northern Group with meetings commencing on 13th September, 2008 with New Acquisitions/Member's Choice. The next Southern Group meeting will be held at the Clovelly Hotel, Mill Road, Salisbury, on Saturday 25th October 2008, commencing at 10.30.a.m. Subject for the day will be Charity Stamps & Cancellations, (e.g. Pro Patria, Pro Juventute, etc.) All members are invited to bring items for display. Meetings close at approximately 4.00.p.m. (Enquiries to the Webmaster at: webmaster@swiss-philately.co.uk). There will be a further meeting on Saturday 21st February 2009, where the topic will be 'Non-Circular Handstamps/Cancels'. All members are encouraged to bring examples on this very interesting subject, where the main speakers will be Bob Medland and Fred Hoadley.
